Our friends over at You're The Man Now Dog are taking heat from Scientology lawyers by way of a frivolous cease and desist letter.

Freedom of speach as it pertains to parody and derivative works and fair use really don't get much play with Scientology, does it?

A week ago I wouldn't be saying this, but now, I have to: Thank you, Mark Ebner.
After being warned that hearing the OT-3 doctrine would immeasurably hurt me (and my loved ones), I stumbled upon your website. I was appalled by the notion of you daring to tell those young Scientologists the story. As I read, however, I felt no discomfort or pain whatsoever. I suppose they did say 'immeasurable' pain would be inflicted.
I'm off to join Heaven's Gate now. Take care, and wave to Hale Bopp the next time she comes around.

Man I don't know who's worse: the psychotic mind controlling Scientologist or the retards who make fun of them because they think it's weird.
It's always been plainly clear to me that all religion, God, and reality are a matter of opinion and completely made up and nothing is provable. I always thought the idea behind OT III was cool: just make up your own cool alien story of life. It makes sense to me.
But all these morons seem to think the fact that a religion is old or that it has followers makes it any less weird than a new one that some Sci-Fi Writer made up.
It's like wake up people: nothing is real, there is no reality, you can make up anything. Scientology is just for fun and a religion, it's not strange at all. You can believe in anything because nothing really exists.
Personally although I'm not a Scientologist, I don't find Scientology strange and I find people who think it's strange to be fucking morons.
But then again since 95% of people in the country think it's strange I guess that also means 95% of fucking morons. Which they pretty much are.
But then again the Scientologist dudes are losing it for power and going nuts on their own made-up pedestal. That's why L. Ron Hubbard just disassociated himself with the religion.
And his son said that all he cared about was booze and chicks and he raked in like $40 million a year off Scientology.
My conclusion is that L. Ron Hubbard himself is the only cool guy in the story whereas the Scientologists and the Scientology critics are all a bunch of fools.
But since L. Ron Hubbard made millions of dollars and only cared about booze and chicks, he is a true hero of time.
