The late Tim Kenny and his autistic angel
I recently received the following message:
I don't know if you remember my husband and I, but we talked to you about John Travolta and his doing nothing about his son's autism. Well, I have some bad news... My husband Tim Kenny shot and killed himself on March 30,2008. It has been a such a difficult time for me and my daughter and I thought of you today and I wanted to let you know. He was very proud that the story got out and he really felt it was helping. I thank you for everything you did because it made him smile many times.
Patricia Kenny is the widow of the late Tim Kenny - the main source for my story concerning celebrity Scientology shill John Travolta's unwillingness to confront his own son's autism.
Scientology will no doubt blame Mr. Kenny's tragic suicide on "evil psychiatrists," but, on behalf of everyone at Hollywood,Interrupted, I'd like to extend our deepest collective sympathy and warmest thoughts to the surviving family of a man we only knew by his powerful words and courageous actions.

My deepest condolences to his family and friends. He has done a great service in the outcries against Scientology, and I can see from pictures that he has a very wonderful family that will miss him... much like us.
Scientology, you will hear about this in front of your Orgs. Anonymous WILL deliver.

This is very distressing to hear. I am sad to hear about your loss and my heart goes out to you. Considering he bitch slapped and castrated a celebrity scientologist in the celebrity news, I would consider examining the circumstances as POSSIBLY more than a mere suicide.

A prayer for his family. They all deserve much better.

My condolences to everyone touched by this tragedy. Mr Kenny did a very decent thing by raising awareness of Scientology's destructive lies and medical abuse.

my husband Tim Kenny was a wonderful man and a huge supporter for autism awareness and a crusader against scientology. he hated scientology and all that it stood for. he was very proud that he stood up to John Travolta and his suicide was due to fnancial problems. he loved me and our daughter very much and his faith was in JESUS CHRIST. I ask for your continued prayes, thank you so very much

Gee, you must be a real pain to live with and must've drove him nuts.

If Tim Kenny was such a champion for Autism Awareness, how anyone possibly justify taking his own life and silencing a much needed voice for autism advocacy?
His crusade against Scientology has prematurely ended too. Apparently his pride for standing up against Scientology just wasn't enough.
His widow is (allegedly) quoted as saying his death was due to financial problems, so we can deduce that he was a "wonderful" husband and father who took his own life and left behind a widow who is now responsible for the very same financial problems (which will likely be offset by his life insurance policy) and single-handedly rearing an autistic child. Give this guy a hand and a Man of the Year award!
The moral of this story, kids, is never comp meals to celebrities. It'll put you in such financial distress that you may have to take your own life.

To c posted on june 19th at 6:17 am, As Mr Kennys widow I am deeply upset by your comments. You HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT! My husband was a wonderful man and a great father. he stood for things that you wouldnt have the guts to stand for. If you knew anything you would know that suicide is sometimes the end result of a illness called depression. He did not take his life because there was no money, he took his life because he was such a proud man that he could financially care for his family and all that it costs with a disabled child and when he lost his job that day it devasted him because he felt like our daughter would no longer be able to get her therapies. he felt like he let us down, that is a real man!!!!!so next time you write terrible things you might consider that wife and daughter that you spoke of and how he was hurting by his actions, you have hurt by your comments..... Its the pot calling the kettle black!

Money Troubles ?
Was there lawsuits by Scientology ?
Any by John Travolta or both?
Harassments by SciPI's
Did they fairgame him to suicide ?

I am curious to know if the events around his death and finacial problems were suspicious. Many detractors of scientology have died under very strange circumstances.
If not, brain chemisty and how hopeless we feel at times has nothing to do with logic. Having been on the brink myself, I know they feeling that those we love would be better off without us around. It's never true, though.
My heartfelt sorrow to his widow and child.

This is another bogus story by this jackass. Tim Kenny never existed. I live in the same area of Florida. This guy only exists in Mark Ebners mind.

Sad for you and your family for your lost. But please look into this more, I think the cult might have had something to do with it. Lately there have been a lot of suicides associated with Scientology, coincidence?? maybe.
Posted by: Anonymous at June 28, 2008 11:35 AM
What does the fact that he confronted Travolta have to do with him committing suicide? So what.
Isn't it possible, and most likely, that this guy had serious issues completely unrelated to the COS. It seems to me like this is just more anti-COS propaganda.

This is a very sad story and I feel sorry for his wifeand child. Does anyone know if he was taking any medication?
There are some big class-action lawsuits in the US and one in Canada, against drug companies who have not disclosed the full side effects such as suicidal thoughts or attempts at self harm.
I wish the family well

I was reading through a thread on WhyWeProtest.net about Jett Travolta's autism, when I found the link to this story. Patricia, I know it's been a while-but my heart still goes out to you. I have been there and know the pain. I can tell you are a strong woman and will rise above this. I will say a prayer for you and your lovely daughter tonight.
If you ever want to talk, you'll always have a friend in Anonymous.
Again, I am truly sorry for your loss.
(Also, just so you know-anyone here who attempted to make you upset were most likly Scientologst agitators. Anyone mentioning psychiatric drugs of any sort-are)
