Tragedy has struck the town of $350 yoga mats, where skinny pervs with silly names like Yogiraj "Bikram" Choudhoury, Gurumukh, Yogi Bhajan and Swami Satchidananda have become stars.

On Tuesday, March 5, 2007, 77-year-old Caucasian woman, Maxine Hammer, was reportedly struck by her septuagenarian best friend in a "low impact collision" in the 1000 South Sepulveda parking lot while walking to her vehicle from her mid-morning yoga class.

Hammer was rushed to the nearby UCLA Medical Center, where - after losing over 30 units of blood - she was pronounced dead at 3:30pm, March 6. A coroner's report is pending.
