Don't let $cientology happen to your children!

Photographer Luke Heidelberger catches the cult in the "Get 'em while they're young" campaign. However, Ebner is not all that concerned for the ethnic target group. While researching the criminal cult for his Spy story, he asked a black man hanging out near the Celebrity Centre to explain why there were so few blacks in Scientology. The man replied, "Are you kiddin'? Brothers can spot a shell game a mile away!"

I asked that same question about ten years ago, downtown Clearwater. Why didn't I see a number of people of color in Sea Org uniforms, at least proportionate to the percentage in the local general population?
After a few other reasons were shot down, such as 'there's a lot of people here from Europe this week,' I was told by a Scientologist in good standing that it was because --get this-- black people tend to spend their money on material things, not spiritual improvements.
When I heard that coming sincerely out of the man's mouth, I had to leave.

L. Ron Hubbard always liked to think of himself as a 'friend of mankind' but anyone who has found himself involved with and aware of the the inner workings of scientology, will tell you that Hubbard was no friend at all. I say this as one who once upon a time brought new people into the fold, sometimes right off the street. I never recruited kids but I see that it's been going on for sometime now and I am very concerned.

Times have changed but the theory behind this activity never does. Here is a link to a wonderful news documentary about the real man and those who once trusted him only to be betrayed.

Many in the video, including Hubbard's own son, became involved in scientology in their young adult years. It's no surprise to see that the targeted age is getting younger and younger as young adults become more and more sophisticated and knowledgable of the dangers of being scammed.

Yes, Mark, these children are being preyed upon so that they will become 'part of the team '; The less a recruit knows, the better he can be manipulated and deceived. Thank you so much for warning parents, friends and neighbors to beware for the sake of the innocent and vulnerable.
